Well-being at The Cambridgeshire Care Home
Supporting Independence, Confidence, & Joy Every Day
At The Cambridgeshire Care Home, well-being is more than scheduled activities, it’s about helping residents live each day with independence, dignity, and purpose. Our dedicated well-being team takes time to understand each person, making sure daily life is filled with choice, enjoyment, and genuine connection.
From coffee mornings and music sessions to pampering treatments or gentle, tailored exercise, we support the whole person. Body, mind, and spirit, so that every day feels meaningful.

Beauty & Pampering
Everyone deserves to feel beautiful, pampered, or handsome; we make that part of everyday life.
Our on-site stylist and visiting beauty specialists are here to help residents look and feel their best, whether it’s a fresh haircut, a touch of nail care, or a relaxing pamper session.
It’s about more than appearance; It’s about confidence, self-expression & the joy of being cared for.

Movement & Strength
With support from our visiting strength and conditioning coach, residents can enjoy tailored sessions designed to maintain mobility, build confidence and promote independence. From gentle exercises to personalised movement plans, we help every individual keep doing the things they love.
We see movement not as a chore, but as a pathway to freedom, strength & vitality.

Meet Tom, Head of Well-being at Cambridgeshire Care Home
“I believe every day should bring joy, purpose, and choice. My role is to listen, understand what makes each person feel alive, and then shape our activities, events, and one-to-one support around that. Whether it’s planning a lively themed party, organising gentle chair exercises, or arranging a quiet pamper afternoon, it’s all about helping residents feel connected, valued, and truly themselves.”
Our Head of Wellbeing leads a passionate team who are here every day to create meaningful experiences and support independence in ways that matter most to residents and their families.
