There’s something special about summer at Cambridgeshire care home, and this year’s annual Summer Party was no exception. We turned back the clock and embraced the spirit of the 1970s with our very own Flower Power Festival and what a day it was!
A Groovy Garden Gathering
The garden was alive with colour, laughter, and plenty of peace signs as residents, families, and staff came together for an afternoon of music, dancing, and festival fun. From bunting to flower crowns, the whole place had that unmistakable summer buzz.

Dressing the Part
Our residents and staff pulled out all the stops with their outfits, glitter, flares, and flower power galore. Some looks were straight out of the 70s, while others managed to outshine the decade itself! It wasn’t just about the clothes, though; it was the confidence, joy, and sense of playfulness that made the day so special.

Music, Food & Laughter
No festival is complete without live music. The kitchen team kept everyone fuelled with a spread of tasty canapés and summer treats (because no matter the decade, good food never goes out of style).

Family at the Heart
A far-out, fantastic day was had by all, and we’re already looking forward to next summer’s celebration!
